The game between closely ranked teams ended with first ranked BosnianIgokea 's (4-1) home victory over second-best Croatian Split (1-4) 93-85 on Friday. It was a great shooting night for Igokea especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Serbian power forward Strahinja Gavrilovic (204-1993, college: USC, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Montenegrin point guard Petar Popovic (194-1996) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists during the contest. Five Igokea players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Antonio Jordano (191-1999) with 17 points and Slovenian swingman Zoran Dragic (196-1989) scored 9 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending Bosnian champion maintains first position with 4-1 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Split still keeps top place with four games lost. They share the position with Borac.
